As previously reported, ROTTING CORPSE have set Tuesday, May 24, 2005 as the release date for their collection of demos, entitled "The Demos", through F*ck It Records.

The disc will feature all the old-school thrash ROTTING CORPSE songs that were laid down on tape as well as mark the first time ever any ROTTING CORPSE music has ever been officially released in any format besides the four cassette demo tapes early in the band's career.

The first pressing of "The Demos" will be limited to a run of 100 hand-numbered copies, with the disc signed by past members of ROTTING CORPSE, including Perez and Traschsler as well as original vocalist and PANTERA roadie Jim "Slo Moe" Mulqueen and original drummer David Gryder from BLOOD OF THE SUN and STORM AT SUNRISE. A mass-produced second pressing will follow consisting of a different cover and interior artwork. Both releases will contain 16 songs from the ROTTING CORPSE repertoire, including two bonus tracks that were never officially released on any of the early demo tapes.

The song listing for the CD will be laid out in a chronological order. Tracks one through three will consist of "Rotting Corpse", "War on Drugs" and "Evil Slaughter", the original three songs penned for the first demo tape in 1986 that was produced by Jerry "Eld'n" Abbott, , father of metal siblings Darrell and Vince Abbott at Pantego Sound Studios in Arlington, Texas. The 1987 four-song demo, "F*ck It, It's Only Thrash", produced by Vinnie Paul and featuring "Those Without Conscience", "Evolvement", "Price of God" and "When it Rains it Pours", will follow. "Emotional Scars" and "Evolvement", both recorded in 1988 and once again produced by Vinnie Paul, were never officially released will make up tracks eight and nine. The CD concludes with "Neck Breaking Fury", "Progressing Insanity", "Payment in Blood", "Outro", and re-recorded versions of "War on Drugs", "Evil Slaughter" and "Rotting Corpse", all from the final ROTTING CORPSE demo released in 1990.
